9 Pandas Release Antares Despite Elite League Qualification
The 9Pandas organization has announced that its contract with position four player Antares has ended, and will not be renewed.
Just a few weeks ago, 9Pandas , together with Antares, qualified for the Elite League tournament. However, the 21-year-old will not participate in the million-dollar tournament with the team.
Antares shared a few words on his departure from the team (translated):
“Last season was the best of my life. I met so many nice people along my way. I want to express great respect to Lekha (Solo) and Gleb (kiyotaka), who gave me a lot in terms of Dota and just trivially in terms of social skills. Thank you very much to the organization and people who tried to help me develop as a player. I love them all. Good luck to the guys in the future.
In the meantime, I’ll just ride pub matches and rest a little.”
Antares started his Tier 1 career wearing the 9Pandas jersey, joining exactly a year ago in April 2023. Together with the organization, he achieved the following results:
