Azure Ray, MOUZ, beastcoast, and PSG Quest Complete Riyadh Masters 2024 Lineup
The qualifiers for the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament have ended.
In the Chinese Qualifiers, Azure Ray almost found themselves missing out on Riyadh. They defeated Team Zero 2-1 to take on kev in the qualification match. After trading maps, Azure Ray was down 10,000 net worth in the final game but made a comeback to secure their slot.
Team Secret lost the qualification series 0-2 to MOUZ, meaning they will not play in Riyadh. MOUZ qualified for their first big event since the roster's formation. Previously, they played in PGL Wallachia Season 1 but got their slot due to Tundra Esports skipping the event.
As expected, we once again saw Nigma Galaxy facing off against PSG Quest in the MENA qualifier finals. The story did not change, as PSG Quest could win the series after a 3-1 victory. Nigma Galaxy already had a hard time making it to the final, losing to NextUp earlier.
The most surprising result has to be beastcoast defeating BOOM Esports. The Heroic and BOOM Esports pair has dominated the South American region and were expected to take both slots. Heroic got the job done, but BOOM was demolished in the Lower Bracket Final against beastcoast, losing 0-2 in 24 and 13 minutes!
Now, we have all 16 participants at Riyadh Masters 2024:
Riyadh Masters 2024 will run from July 4 to 21 and feature a prize pool of $5,000,000. The event will take place in an offline format in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
