Azure Ray Reveal New Roster Featuring Some Big Names
Earlier today, Azure Ray announced the departure of their legendary players, Somnus, Chalice, and fy. This change left some big shoes to fill in the Azure Ray squad, but the organization had suitable replacements.
The three new additions to Azure Ray include Xm, Xxs, and XinQ, forming this iteration of the team:
Xm is a 24-year-old Mid Lane pub star who has yet to prove himself internationally. He had stints with Vici Gaming and Xtreme Gaming but had minimal achievements throughout his career.
Offlaner Xxs has been in the Tier 1 Dota 2 scene for a long time, throughout his time in Team Aster. After his time in Invictus Gaming, Xxs had been in Aster from 2018 to 2023. He completed multiple deep runs at The International throughout his career.
XinQ needs no introduction. He was a part of PSG.LGD when they were considered the best team in the world. Unfortunately, the position four player failed to lift the Aegis at The International 10 after losing to Team Spirit in one of the most unexpected upsets in Dota 2 history. He is back in the professional scene after his time at Xtreme Gaming.
The new Azure Ray roster will debut at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, which starts on December 11.
