Blacklist International Release Raven
Filipino organization Blacklist International has announced the departure of their Carry player, Raven.
The “Filipino superteam” recently won their first tournament, the Acer Predator League, pocketing $65,000. However, the tournament barely had any notable competition.
Since November 2023, which was when the roster was formed, Blacklist International has only qualified for one of three significant events. They qualified for ESL One Kuala Lumpur but got eliminated in the group stage.
Blacklist International failed to qualify for BetBoom DACHA Dubai and DreamLeague Season 22 after losing to Geek Fam and BLEED Esports, respectively. Overall, the roster did not meet expectations and, simply put, was very underwhelming.
The most experienced player on the team, Raven, has taken the hit and was removed from the active roster. There are a few candidates to replace the 25-year-old, such as Palos. There is also a possibility that Gabbi returns to the Carry role, and have an Off Laner like KuKu fill the empty slot.
