BOOM Esports Announce BoBoKa and WS
BOOM Esports has gotten two new players for their run in the regional qualifiers for The International 12. BOOM Esports has had an awful DPC year, failing to qualify for Majors and even getting relegated to Division II. It was obvious that changes had to be made.
To replace Saieful "Fbz" Ilham, who was loaned to Team Secret, Malaysian player Chung "Ws" Wei Shen will be BOOM's new offlaner. Accompanying him in the offlane will be veteran Chinese player Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao as the position four.
The new offlane player Ws is a rising star in the SEA region and is only 18 years old. However, one thing that raised some eyebrows is that Ws has been banned by Oceanic Esports due to account sharing in September 2021. Will this come back to bite BOOM Esports in any way?
Another surprising addition to the team is BoBoKa. It was rumored that BoBoKa lost the motivation to continue playing with Team Aster, which is why he was removed from the roster. However, he has shown up in the Southeast Asian region, and fans said he wanted to play with Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer.

BOOM Esports will debut in the regional qualifiers for The International, which begins on the 27th of August.
