Ceb Goes Absent For TI Qualifiers; OG Lose To Entity
OG’s captain, Ceb, has suddenly taken time off in the middle of the TI qualifiers. According to the organization, he is absent due to family matters. As a result, Immersion is temporarily standing in for the team. Whether Ceb will return is unknown.
OG was put in a tight spot, as they had to face one of the favorites to qualify, Entity Gaming, with a last-minute stand-in.
It looked like the squad had everything under control, as Timado and Bzm had exceptional performances on the first map. OG could dominate Game 1 with their carry player going 13/0/8 on Chaos Knight.
Entity Gaming had a unique draft for Game 2, where they ran Sven support, played by Fishman. OG took the early advantage with their robust laning draft, running Broodmother on Timado. However, they could not get a significant lead going, and were eventually outscaled by Entity Gaming.
Alas, a third map was required. Despite struggling in the laning stage, OG bounced back into the mid game and eventually built a 16,000 net worth lead at the 38-minute mark. They had firm control over the game and seemed like they were going to win without Ceb. However, Entity Gaming made a gigantic comeback to steal the series away from OG.
With this victory, Entity Gaming have secured their spot in the Upper Bracket Final, where they will face Tundra Esports for a slot in Copenhagen. Meanwhile, OG are down to their last life, and Ceb’s return is still questionable.
