DLTV BEST PLAYER AWARDS OF 2023, POSITION 1: FIFTH PLACE
Opening DLTV’s list of the best Carry players in 2023 will be PSG Quest’s TA2000, previously known as naive.
Last season, TA2000 made his breakthrough to top-tier Dota, joining a large and prosperous organization thanks to PSG’s partnership with his team.
He is well-known for his Naga Siren, arguably the best in the world, breaking several records, including the GPM record. He and Entity Gaming’s watson became the first two Kazakhstani players to attend The International.
Though PSG Quest’s performance as a team declined as the year was ending, TA2000 still showed consistency and had to be rewarded with a place in our top five list despite it being last.
PSG Quest achieved the following results in 2023:
- 1 place in EPL S8
- 15th place at DreamLeague S20
- 4th place at The Bali Major 2023
- 8th place at Riyadh Masters 2023
- 12th place at DreamLeague S21
- 20th place at The International 12
Though PSG Quest didn’t accomplish much last year, TA2000 did. His individual statistics, relative to Carry players, are off the charts. Take a look:
- Top 2 KDA: 6.13 (Top 5 among all roles and players)
- Top 2 (Least) Average Deaths Per Game: 2.61 (Top 4 among all roles and players)
- Top 2 Kill Participation: 62.86%
- Top 1 Average Last Hits Per Game: 525.37
- Top 1 GPM, all players and roles: 756.80
- Top 3 XPM, all players and roles: 772.76
- Top 3 Average Damage Per Game: 28,515
If you want statistics like TA2000, try playing his top three heroes:
- Naga Siren (15 Maps, 67% Win Rate)
- Medusa (11 Maps, 82% Win Rate)
- Terrorblade (15 Maps, 60% Win Rate)
The best tournament in 2023 was the Bali Major, where he showed some mind-blowing numbers:
- Top 1 KDA: 8.00
- Top 1 (Least) Average Deaths Per Game: 1.89
- Top 1 Average Last Hits Per Game: 499.33
- Top 2 GPM: 754.41
- Top 2 XPM: 802.56
Unfortunately, PSG Quest isn’t looking too sharp in 2024. Hopefully, TA2000 will find a way back to the top, whether it be fixing the team's problems or finding a new home.
