DLTV Best Player Awards Of 2023, Position 4: Third Place
Hailing from Southeast Asia, ex-Talon Esports player, now in Team Aurora, Q, will take the bronze medal in our list of best position four players. Though the team’s results weren’t too impressive, Q’s individual performance surpassed many players from more substantial teams and deserved third place.
Q previously played for Talon Esports, which achieved the following results:
- 3rd place at Lima Major 2023
- 12th place at DreamLeague S19
- 7th place at Berlin Major 2023
- 3rd place at Riyadh Masters 2023
- 11th place at DreamLeague S21
- 10th place at The International 12
The Talon lineup showed many ups and downs throughout the year and was a very inconsistent roster. However, this didn’t apply to Q, who showed high levels of skill even in hopelessly lost games. Take a look at this man’s stats compared to other position four players:
- Top 4 Average Assists Per Game: 14.93
- Top 1 Kill Participation: 72.10%
- Top 1 KDA: 3.58
- Top 1 Average Damage Per Game: 17,081
In addition to these impeccable statistics, Q has one of the lowest average deaths per game in the support category at 5.39. This number is lower than Boxi (6.03) and Miposhka (6.25).
Q shined on his three favorite heroes of 2023:
- Tiny (71% Win Rate)
- Tusk (64% Win Rate)
- Rubick (63% Win Rate)
Though Tiny in position four isn’t as popular as it used to be, Q still makes the hero work in the support role.
His best tournament was definitely Riyadh Masters 2023, where Talon Esports finished third. Q ranked sixth among all players in kill participation, with 75.52% to his name. He is also among the top ten players, including players from every role, in average assists.
Tomorrow, we’ll name the second-best position four player of 2023. Stay tuned!
