DLTV Professional Team Rankings: June 8
We’ve updated the rankings of professional teams for June. There have been multiple shifts in the Top 10 rankings after the conclusion of the Summer DPC Tour. Check out the Top 10 teams in the world below!
The Top 3 teams remain unchanged, for good reason. All three of these WEU teams still displayed top-notch Dota 2 in their regional DPC Tour. We expect more deep runs from Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, and Tundra Esports, who finished 7-0 in the most challenging region.
Team Spirit made a big jump in the rankings, climbing from #9 to #4. Team Spirit made a flawless run in the Eastern Europe division, beating tough teams such as 9 Pandas and BetBoom Team.
Another team to rapidly gain ranks is PSG.LGD, skyrocketing to the Top 5 after a change of 8 ranks. PSG.LGD finished first place in the competitive Chinese DPC, with only a single tight loss against Xtreme Gaming. PSG.LGD recently brought in a new Offlaner, Li "niu" Kongbo, who has been helping PSG.LGD find success in their first DPC Tour together.
The rest of the teams in the Top 10 were moved down one or two places only because they had to make way for Team Spirit and PSG.LGD, which made massive jumps in the rankings.
One notable ranking drop, however, is Talon Esports, which fell by three ranks. This decline is due to their failure to qualify for Bail, making them the only Top 10 team absent in the final Dota 2 Major of the competitive year.
