Dota 2 Champions League Season 5 announced
With the support of the Russian eSports Federation, tournament organizer Epic Esports Events announced Dota 2 Champions League Season 5. The tournament will be held from November 8 to 28, with a prize pool of $50,000. A total of 10 teams will attend the event, but now we know the names of only 6 of them:
They will reveal the names of the other participants and the dates of the open qualifiers later. The qualifiers will be played in a Single Elimination format with BO1 matches and a BO3 grand final.
The group stage of Dota 2 Champions League Season 5 will be played in a Round Robin system with BO3 matches, while the playoffs will be played in a Double Elimination system. The order of advancing from the group stage to the playoff is not known yet.
