DPC results before the New Year holidays

The 3 weeks of DPC Winter Regional Leagues are over. In just a couple of days, all the regions will take a 2-week break for the New Year holidays. Before that, let's look at the interim results of the teams from the Upper Divisions.

Europe

After 4 games played, Team Liquid remains the leader of the season. It is the only team in the region without a single loss.

In the middle of the table, there are 4 teams with close scores: Team Tickles, OG, Tundra Esports and Team Secret. It is surprising to see Team Tickles on this list because the team was considered one of the main outsiders before the start of the season.

At the bottom of the table are COOLGUYS, Alliance and Nigma Galaxy. The latter, by the way, finally won their first match last week, against Team Secret. In theory, they keep their chances of qualifying for the Major.

CIS

We have a surprising situation in the CIS region. At the top of the table are PuckChamp, Team Spirit and HellRaisers. If we didn't expect any other result from the International 10 champion, the rest surprised everyone with their performance.

In the middle of the list are Virtus Pro and Natus Vincere. Before the winter season, these teams were considered the main contenders for the Top-3 and invitations to the Winter Major. There are still chances, but with each loss, they become fewer.

Southeast Asia

BOOM Esports takes the top spot in the region after the third week. The team has a 4-0 statistic and may become a winner of the season. T1, a participant of The International 10, follows them. Interestingly, in 3 weeks, it has only played 2 matches and won both.

The main disappointments of the season are TNC Predator и OB.Esports x Neon. The teams are currently without a single win, and their chances of retaining a slot in the Upper Division are thawing with every new match.

North America

The teams' standings are virtually unchanged after the third week. Team Undying and Quincy Crew are still leading, going undefeated on the season.

Evil Geniuses suffered their second loss last week against Wildcard Gaming. The new roster still can't find their playstyle, and it is quite possible that we won't see this team in the Winter Major.

South America

In South America, the situation is almost identical to North America. There are 2 leaders there, Thunder Predator and beastcoast, who haven't suffered a single defeat. This week APU King of kings also got closer to contenders for the Major with a 3-1 statistic. The only defeat was against beastcoast.

At the bottom of the table, 4 teams at once have negative stats — NoPing, Lava BestPC, Hokori and SG Esports. These are the main contenders for relegation from the Upper Division.

This is what the interim results look like right now in all regions. In 2 days, the teams will go on a 2-week break. After that, we'll see what form the teams return.
