DPC South America game day results
EG had little trouble taking down Thunder Awaken. Mad Kings defeated Infinity. And beastcost beat Infamous in an interesting encounter.
EG 2:0 Thunder Awaken
From the start of the first map, Thunder Awaken seized the advantage. But the fight for the first Roshan changed everything. Pakazs on Ursa took the aegis, allowing EG to have a successful fight right after that. The second Roshan also got to EG, and Ursa was already easily interrupting the enemy Terrorblade. Another won fight and EG wins.
On the second map, Thunder Awaken failed to win a single line. The map lasted only 24 minutes and ended in favor of EG.
Infinity Esports 1:2 MAD KINGS
Mad Kings had full control of the game on the first map. All they had to do was wait for key items. Arzent on Beastmaster bought auras, and the game got a lot easier. Mad Kings made megacreeps, but the Magnus carry from Infinity didn't work.
The second map, on the other hand, went to Infinity's dictation. Adrian on Chaos Knight and Leostyle on Storm Spirit played magnificently, finishing the game with stats of 17/5/17 and 13/4/16, respectively.
The deciding map was evenly matched for the first 30 minutes. But after a lost fight, Infinity still fell apart. Tinker by pipi grabbed that chance and finished with 10/2/11.
beastcost 2:0 Infamous
The meeting started without a gold margin in anyone's favor. This went on until the first Roshan. By the 20th minute, beastcost took the aegis and used it to build up their lead, ending the game in their favor.
The second map was more interesting due to a lot of mistakes on both sides. For 68 minutes, Infamous tried to tie the score, but beastcost didn't let them do it. Darkmago on Alchemist broke the throne while the opponents were distracted by a fight outside of their high ground.
