Gaimin Gladiators Release dyrachyo
The Gaimin Gladiators organization announced on Twitter/X that they have released dyrachyo from the active Dota 2 roster.
“After three years of absolute dedication, dyrachyo has been moved to the inactive roster and is looking for other opportunities outside GG.
Every challenge on our path, we have overcome together time and time again. We've lifted many trophies, shared bitter losses, but most of all, we shared many more laughs.
While this chapter comes to an end, we hope you take this time to appreciate just how much you will be missed.
We cooked something as special as these last three years, but we will hold off until a proper goodbye is in order.”
dyrachyo has played with the Gaimin Gladiators core since the very beginning, when the team was still unsponsored playing under the name Team Tickles.
With his aggressive playstyle, dyrachyo helped the team achieve numerous tournament wins. His most notable results include:
-
1st place at Lima Major 2023
-
1st place at DreamLeague Season 19
-
1st place at ESL One Berlin Major 2023
-
1st place at DreamLeague Season 20
-
1st place at Bali Major 2023
-
1st place at BetBoom Dacha 2023
-
2nd place at The International 2023
-
1st place at Riyadh Masters 2024
-
2nd place at The International 2024
Unfortunately, he and the Gladiators failed to secure their final achievement: a TI victory. The team made it to the Grand Finals of the two previous TIs, but got 0-3’d in the Grand Final both times.
It is unclear where dyrachyo is headed next, but strong rumors suggest that watson will be replacing him on the team.
