The new composition of Heroic has been on a tear in FISSURE Playground Belgrade 2025, taking down big names such as Team Falcons and Team Spirit in the Swiss Stage. The South American squad beat the latter 2 - 0 in the qualification match in pretty convincing fashion, meaning they have secured a spot in the Playoffs.
Accompanying Heroic in the 3 - 0 pool is the BetBoom Team, who had an easy stroll against Team Liquid. Both games ended in 29 minutes and the TI winners seemed outclassed.
Another interesting result is Talon Esports demolishing Tundra Esports in a Best of 1 series. All lanes went horribly wrong for the Western European stack. The game ended with a kill score of 4 - 40. However, this was neither a qualifiaction or elimination match.
Meanwhile, two teams have been eliminated from the event. Chimera, fresh off giving Daxak the boot, exited the tournament after losing to Xtreme Gaming. At the same time, Shopify Rebellion has also been sent out of the event.
12 teams remain in contention in the Swiss Stage. FISSURE Playground Belgrade 2025 is a $1,000,000 tournament featuring 16 teams. The event is played in a LAN format.
