NA Qualifiers Day 4: B8 Breaks Through Wildcard Gaming; Nouns Make It To The Final
The North American Regional Qualifiers are coming to a close, and the final day is up ahead.
Felt 2-0 B8
The matchup between Felt and B8 slightly favoured the Ukrainian roster, and Dendi and his boys managed to pull through. They easily 2-0’d Felt in 29 and 18 minutes, allowing them to move on to the next stage.
Felt's road ends here, and they have been eliminated from the qualifiers.
Wildcard Gaming 2-1 American Goons
Wildcard Gaming was supposed to take their series against American Goons easily. They did end up winning 2-1, but it wasn’t a good look as Wildcard Gaming showed a bit of struggle against an easy opponent.
The qualifiers end here for American Goons. The team didn’t have too many expectations going into the qualifier but ended up putting on a decent showing.
Nouns 2-0 DogChamp
Nouns have been the favorites to win the entire qualifier, and they’re meeting those expectations after a 2-0 win against DogChamp.
However, it wasn’t a “free series” for Nouns, as it took them 75 minutes to end the first game and 59 minutes for the second after pulling off a 30,000 net worth lead comeback.
Team DogChamp isn’t out yet and will wait for their opponent in the Lower Bracket Final. Meanwhile, Nouns wait in the Grand Final.
B8 2-1 Wildcard Gaming
The most anticipated series of the day is B8 against Wildcard Gaming, two teams with a real shot at qualification.
Wildcard Gaming took a sizable 14,000 net worth lead in the first game but made mistakes and gave B8 a way back into the game. B8 completed the comeback to steal Game 1 away from Wildcard Gaming.
In the second game, Wildcard Gaming surprised B8 with a 24th pick Tinker on RCY’s hands. RCY dominated the game with an 11/1/9 KDA to keep the series tied.
Sadly, fans weren’t given a close decider game, as B8 ran away with the laning stage and dominated the game. B8 survive in the Lower Bracket and will face Team DogChamp in the Lower Bracket Final tomorrow.
