NAVI Win El Clasico Match Against Alliance To Reach Wallachia Playoffs
One of the most legendary rivalries in Dota 2 between Natus Vincere and Alliance was played, but a decade after its peak with Puppey and Loda (coach) still being a part of both teams.
In the first map of the series, Alliance won the laning stage convincingly, but played too passive and allowed NAVI to farm their way back into the game. Yuragi went from a terrible early game to unkillable in the late game.
The second map was the Nande show, as he was playing his signature hero, Morphling. The game was scrappy and back-and-forth, but Nande eventually farmed his core items and carried the game.
The third game was very even as both teams were neck-in-neck in terms of gold, but NAVI had the better teamwork and execution. Yuragi ended the game with a Divine Rapier on Gyrocopter, but credit has to be given to Bzm for his impactful Earth Spirit.
With this series victory, NAVI secured a spot in the top eight. Meanwhile, Alliance has been sent down to the 2-2 pool where they will have one more chance to qualify for the playoffs.
