Nigma Galaxy and LEVEL UP Join WEU Division I
Division II of the Western European region comes to a close, and the two promoted teams have been decided.
The newly formed stack, LEVEL UP, finished the Summer DPC Tour in first place after winning the three-way tiebreakers convincingly. The team led by Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin had to go through the Open Qualifiers to make it to Division II. They are immediately going to Division I after solid performances throughout the season.
After winning against Ex-Monaspa for the final promotion slot, Nigma Galaxy will return to the Upper Division again. Nigma Galaxy faced relegation in the second DPC Tour and replaced Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf and Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan.
To fill in the big shoes of their previous players, Nigma Galaxy signed two up-and-coming talents, Yuma "Yuma" Langlet in the Carry position and Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah in the Mid Lane. The new iteration of Nigma had a shaky start to the season, but the roster gelled in time to qualify for Division I.
The victims of these two teams are the Ex-Monaspa players. Giorgos "SsaSpartan" Giannakopoulos and his boys will have to return to the drawing board as they'll start in Division II again for the next DPC season.
