Nigma Galaxy Sweep Level Up 3-0 To Qualify For BetBoom DACHA LAN Stage
Nigma Galaxy, Level Up, and multiple other notable teams participated in the BetBoom DACHA Online Stage, where the winner would qualify for the BetBoom DACHA LAN Stage.
Fans thought this matchup between Nigma Galaxy and Level Up would be close, but KuroKy and the crew showed their superior experience and gave their opponents no chance, taking the series 3-0.
Team Level Up had reasonable control over the first game, but Nigma Galaxy patiently took fights and made a comeback. Level Up was outdrafted in the next two games, allowing Nigma Galaxy to stomp both easily.
Credit must be given to Nigma’s new players, Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah and Yuma "Yuma" Langlet, who played clean games throughout the series. Still, all the Nigma players played exceptionally well to contribute to the win. This victory is a great sign for them heading into the qualifiers for The International.
Nigma Galaxy's new carry player Yuma was brought in for a post-game interview to share a few words regarding his qualification for his first LAN event:
"I'm just happy that we qualified, this is the first LAN for me. I'm very excited, I've always wanted to play in a LAN event, so it's going to be good for me and everyone in the team. I might get pressured in the first few games, but like always, you'll just get used to it. Once you're in the game, you just play Dota and forget everything outside of it."
The BetBoom DACHA LAN Stage will feature big names such as Gaimin Gladiators, Team Spirit, and BetBoom Team. These top-tier teams will compete for a share of $250,000 from the 10th to the 16th of September, meaning this tournament will begin before The International.
