No[o]ne Makes A Surprise Entrance In Team SMG
Veteran player Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko is a big name in the Dota 2 scene, but he hasn't been around the Tier 1 scene for quite a while. He played in Old G for a few DPC seasons but had little to no results during his time there.
No[o]ne is looking to make his return to Dota 2's biggest tournament, but this time, he's trying something new. Though there hasn't been an official announcement, No[o]ne's roster move was spotted on Valve's team registration website.
The Ukrainian player will shockingly be traveling all the way to Southeast Asia to join Team SMG.
No[o]ne will be playing in the following roster:
- Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko
- Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
- Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee
- Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan
- Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla
No[o]ne will be playing in the Carry position, replacing Lee "CDR" Jia He. He'll be accompanied by world-class players such as MidOne and ah fu, who have made multiple TI appearances just like himself.
Team SMG will have to go through tough competition in the Southeast Asian regional qualifiers, as BLEED Esports, Execration, Blacklist International, and GeekFam are waiting for them. Only one TI slot is available, so we'll see a bloodbath in the Southeast Asian qualifiers.
