Nouns Defeat B8 To Join The 20 Teams At The International
The North American Qualifier has ended, and to no surprise, Nouns will be the North American representatives from the closed qualifier.
In the first match of the Final Day, Dendi’s B8 was tasked to play against Team DogChamp, where they defeated them with ease with a score of 2-0. This result meant the Grand Final of the North American Qualifier would feature B8 and Nouns. Though B8 looked promising, the skill gap between them and Nouns was clear, and B8 stood no chance.
The first two games were total stomps in favor of Nouns, where they could win in 35 and 26 minutes. Before going down, B8 showed a somewhat decent performance in Game 3, where they were able to hold off for 56 minutes before finally going down.
Nouns completely swept B8 3-0 and showed they were easily the best team in the North American Qualifier. They didn’t have an easy road to the Finals either, as they defeated all notable teams in the bracket: Wildcard Gaming, Team DogChamp, and B8.
We will see this Nouns roster at The International:
- Héctor "K1" Rodríguez
- Nicolas "Gunnar" Lopez
- David "Moo" Hull
- Rodrigo "Lelis" Santos
- Luke "Yamsun" Wang
They will have the honor of playing in front of their home crowd, and will book a short flight to Seattle in October.
