Nouns Steal Riyadh Masters Slot From Shopify Rebellion
Nouns defeated Shopify Rebellion in the Grand Final of the North American Riyadh Masters 2024 Qualifiers. The region was only granted one slot.
Shopify Rebellion had already defeated Nouns in the Upper Bracket Final 2-0 with their newest player, MinD_ContRoL. However, the Grand Final was won by the underdogs 3-2.
The favorites easily won the first map with Arteezy playing Night Stalker carry. However, a 24th pick Riki for Shopify Rebellion in Game 2 was quickly punished by Nouns. The two teams traded maps until a fifth game was required.
In the decider, Gunnar played a very impactful game on Axe, catching enemy heroes and setting up for kills. Shopify Rebellion seemed lost and desperately took unfavorable fights. Nouns ended up winning and qualifying for Riyadh.
After replacing Stormstormer for their new mid player, Copy, Nouns qualified for their first big event with the roster’s new iteration. They will compete in Riyadh Masters 2024 for a share of $5,000,000.
