Omega Esports gets banned from all Valve tournaments
On its social media, tournament organizer Beyond The Summit announced that the Omega Esports team and all its members had been banned from all tournaments from Valve. According to the organizer, the team was involved in match-fixing during the last DPC season.
The list of banned players:
- ??Dave "Hiro" Hiro;
- ??Prince "Prince" Daculan;
- ??Ryniel Keit "Zenki" Calvez;
- ??Patt "Piolz" Cruz;
- ??Van Jerico "Van" Manalaysay;
- ??Chris Ian "Cty" Maldo.
Last season, Omega Esports competed in the DPC: SEA Upper Division, where they finished in 6th place. The team retained the slot for the Winter Season, but it was canceled. BOOM Esports will now take their place in the Upper Division of the Winter Season.
The Execration team has received permission from BTS to make replacements in the roster, as their new player Van has been banned after the rosters lock. Who will be the new member of the team is unknown yet.
Earlier, Omega Esports unveiled their new roster for the winter season, which was to include:

- ??Ramzi "Ramz" Bayhaki;
- ??Lee "Forev" Sang-don;
- ??Liew "Eren" Jun Jie;
- ??Ryniel Keit "Zenki" Calvez.
