One Move and 9 Pandas win
One Move was stronger than HYDRA, and 9 Pandas beat Nemiga Gaming in class. Anyway, the outsiders took the first maps in both matches.
One Move 2:1 HYDRA
One Move was in the status of the favorite but gave up the first map. HYDRA took an early lead and brought it to a logical conclusion. There was not much of a fight. All three core players of the team played excellently. And let's note the dream on Alchemist with 10/0/11 stats.
The key encounter of the second map was Munkushi's Terrorblade versus dream's Phantom Lancer. One Move had a lot going for them, and they tied the series. The best player there was Ainkrad on Primal Beast, with an 11/1/4 score.
On the deciding map, dream chose a signature Shadow Fiend, while One Move took Alchemist but sent him to the offlane. At the same time, Munkushi's Medusa was at the carry. Again a good performance from Ainkrad on Puck. He's largely responsible for the series win: 11/3/11 from the midlaner from Belarus.
9 Pandas 2:1 Nemiga Gaming
The top-3 at the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, 9 Pandas, approached this match as a favorite and gave the first map to Nemiga Gaming. Recall that HYDRA demolished Nemiga in the first round without a chance.
In the first draft, 9 Pandas chose familiar characters. The biggest surprise was the appearance of Earth Spirit from kiyotaka in the center. Indeed, it was impossible to use this character, which gave Nemiga a sensational lead in the series. Vazya on Doom had a perfect 5/0/14, and v1olent on Terrorblade finished with 9/1/12 stats.
A crazy start from 9 Pandas was on the second map. Everything was already decided in the lines stage, and by the 10th minute, the advantage reached over 7,000 in gold. There were very comfortable heroes for 9 Pandas: kiyotaka performed well on Queen of Pain, and the Pandas tied the series.
The third map was without any competition. There was no intrigue. 9 Pandas defeated Nemiga Gaming, played with signature heroes and with a minimal test in the form of Pangolier for kiyotaka.
The conclusion from today's DPC EEU is that Alchemist is still strong. The favorites won, but the outsiders took away one map at a time.
At the end of the third DPC tour, 3 teams from Eastern Europe will make it to the Bali Major 2023. There will be played out $500,000 and 3,500 DPC points.
