Only 34 of 80 DPC: NA players hail from North America

Samuel "Sammyboy" Anderson, a former Wildcard Gaming member, has revealed that only 34 of the 80 players in the upcoming DPC: NA season hail from North America. He also added a statistic:

Currently, there are no restrictions on the use of foreign players in Valve's official rules. Because of this, teams can play in a region without any representative of that region. There is not even a requirement to be physically present in the league venue. So far, Valve hasn't commented on the situation.
The next DPC tour is scheduled for January 9 to February 19, 2023. Participants from each region compete for $205,000 in prize money, DPC points, invitations to the first major, or slots to Upper Divisions.
