Overview of DPC Southeast Asian Division One matches on may 22
XERXIA sensationally beat Blacklist International. Bleed has dealt with Talon. Execution beat BOOM in a hard fight.
Blacklist International 0:2 Xerxia
Xerxia came into this match as the underdog. However, that didn't stop them from grabbing the lead from as early as the 15th minute. The first full-fledged turnover happened in the 26th minute. Xerxia successfully fought for Roshan, killed four Blacklist heroes, and took Aegis. The gold advantage was getting bigger by the minute, and each subsequent Blacklist brawl was lost without a chance. 14:35 on the count, and the first card was for Xerxia.
The second map, surprisingly, was again under Xerxia's control. They were doing well from the laning stage. By the 15th minute, the gold advantage had already reached 8,000. After gaining Aegis, Xerxia was able to take the outside towers and the enemy Terzatel. Blacklist couldn't recover from that, and Xerxia sensationally got their first win of the DPC season, and over the favorite.
Talon 0:2 Bleed
The start of the meeting was completely under Talon's dictation. By the 11th minute they were leading by about 5,000 gold. But during the next stretch, Jackky on Terrorblade began to outpace the enemy Bloodseeker in farming. With the emergence of Butterfly, killing Terrorblade became nearly impossible. After taking Roshan, Bleed had a successful fight, and brought the game to its logical conclusion.
On the second map, Talon banned Terrorblade and picked up Medusa for 23savage. Bleed, in turn, picked up Naga Siren. Again, like on the first map, Talon seized the initiative from the beginning of the game. But Jacky wasn't about to give up. In the 22nd minute, Naga Siren was ahead of Medusa by a whole slot, thanks to which, Bleed was able to have a successful brawl and take Aegis. From there, the advantage increased with each minute. 23savage with Diffusal Blade on Medusa dropped out of the game. As the clear favorite, Talon lost the second map, and with it the series. In addition, a great game on Void Spirit was shown by the middle line player of the team Bleed and finished with a stat of 18/4/11.
Execration 2:1 BOOM
The game started without a significant advantage. Only on the 25th minute Execration took Roshan and with an aegis tried to go into the opponent's high ground. However, Boom managed to fight back, and they managed to kill Medusa twice, and then everyone else. One mistake and the game completely fell apart for Execration. Back on the first map was no longer possible.
On the second map, both teams made a lot of mistakes. The advantage of up to 5,000 was held by one team and the other. The first turning point came on the 39th minute, when Execration with aegis on Terrorblade tried to enter the opponent's high ground. But it didn't work out. Boom managed to kill the Terrorblade 2 times, then they decided to go to the opponent's high ground, but they failed too. Natsumi on Monkey King set himself up and went to the tavern. Later, Execration was able to make mega-creeps, but the game was still going on. The final critical mistake that decided the outcome was from the same Natsumi, who jumped on Execration's high ground and got blown up by Techies mines. He had no more redemption and in the 70th minute Execration snatched victory for themselves.
In the deciding encounter, Execration took on Monkey King again, while Boom answered with Muerta. From the start the game was fairly even, with no advantage. But everything came down to a single fight on 33 minutes. Execration and the Aegis on Muerta had a great teamfight, then made mega-creeps and ended the meeting in their favor.
