Patch 7.30e in Dota 2: a new hero Marci and balance of heroes
Last night the Dota 2 client received a patch 7.30e, which added a new hero, Marci, as well as changed the balance of some items and heroes. You can find a complete list on the official Valve website, but we will highlight the key changes in this article.
New hero Marci
Marci has become the 122nd character in Dota 2. She first appeared in the Netflix anime DOTA: Blood of the Dragon. She was announced at The International 2021. Marci's main attribute is strength.
History:
Proving that undying loyalty yields unrivaled power, Marci always marches into battle ready to raise fists in defense of her companions. Effortlessly flinging friends and foes around the battlefield, she happily bounds into any brawl, able to grant allies a deadly edge and unleash a hidden power strong enough to make even gods reconsider the wisdom of a hostile path.
Key changes of heroes
Magnus
The mind-blowing performance of Collapse from Team Spirit on this hero during The International 10 caused Valve to weaken him. Most affected was the Horn Toss ability, which no longer stuns but slows your opponent by 100%.
Tiny
The second most popular hero of The International 10, Tiny, received a significant nerf. It affects his Level 15 Talent and 2 of his abilities, Tree Throw and Tree Grab. During The International 10, this hero was drafted 187 times.
Lycan
One of the discoveries of The International 10, Lycan, has been weakened. The Wolf Bite ability, which is unlocked with Aghanim's Scepter, was weakened. Its cooldown is now increased, and allies have a standard attack distance of 150.
