Professional Teams Ranking: January 10
We have prepared another update on the Dota 2 professional team ranking for you. Even though the teams have just come back from the holidays, there are quite a few changes in the ranking!
First of all, Virtus Pro, who was previously on the 6th line, has dropped out of the Top-50. The team made one more replacement in the roster: ??Egor "Xakoda" Lipartiia plays instead of ??Illias "illias" Ganeev now. After the replacement, the team's core earning points was disbanded, and much of the points were burnt out. Following the departure of Virtus Pro, many teams improved their position.
Secondly, OB.Neon made a jump and improved its position by 27 lines at once. The reason was their victory at the Huya Dota2 Winter Invitational 2021, the last tournament of the previous year. The Southeast Asian team sensationally defeated Royal Never Give Up in the grand final with a 3-1 score. By the way, RNG also showed strong growth and is now ranked 24th.
And thirdly, at the end of Top-30 is CIS Rejects, a team assembled only at the end of November. So far, the roster has already played 16 official matches and won 14 of them. It's quite possible that next week they will climb even higher. Everything depends on their performance in Dota 2 Champions League Season 6.
Next week we will see the results of Dota 2 Champions League Season 6. Also, we will get the DPC Regular Season results. You can find the full list of the ranking's changes on the World Professional Teams Ranking page.
