Quest Esports Join Riyadh Masters Lineup Through MENA Qualifiers
Ex-Ooredoo Thunders, Quest Esports, were not invited to DreamLeague Season 20, where other Bali-attending teams participate. Their absence in the tournament has not allowed them to qualify for the $15,000,000 Riyadh Masters tournament through high placings in DreamLeague tournaments.
Luckily for the Middle Eastern roster, the tournament organizers of Riyadh Masters have granted a specific slot for Middle Eastern/North African teams. With most players from Quest Esports being Middle Eastern, the roster is eligible to directly qualify for the tournament through the MENA Qualifiers.
In the MENA Qualifiers, Quest met familiar faces such as Nigma Galaxy and Team Secret ME, an iteration of Team Secret made just for this tournament. Quest had an easy journey to the Grand Final in their qualifier run, only dropping one map against Nigma Galaxy on the way there.
Ammar and friends met Team Secret ME in the Grand Final of the event, and they were one Best of 5 series away from joining the best teams in the world in Riyadh. Quest proved superior over the new Team Secret stack and demolished them 3-0, qualifying them for Riyadh Masters 2023.
After the Bali Major, this young roster will compete in their biggest tournament. Catch them playing in Riyadh starting the 17th of June!
