Saksa Will Not Defend His Title At The International 2023
Tundra Esports has finally announced that Martin "Saksa" Sazdov will take an extended break due to health reasons. He will be sitting out from Tundra’s active roster and will not attend Ti12 with the team.
Tundra's official statement is as follows:
"We are sad to announce Saksa will be taking an extended break due to health reasons and will not be on our active roster. We wish him all the healing and success possible.
Thank you, Martin, for playing a pivotal role in our TI victory. You’ll forever be a part of our legacy and the Tribe."
After winning the last TI with Tundra, Saksa will not return to Dota 2’s biggest stage to defend his title.
Rumors have circulated that Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen will fill the empty slot. If true, Topson will play Mid while Leon "Nine" Kirilin will move to position four.
