Somnus plans to play at the DPC: China Spring Qualifiers
Chinese Esports talent 🇨🇳Liu "Somnus" Yao plans to play a new team for DPC: China Spring Qualifiers. He shared the information during his broadcast.
The Esportsman considers competing in qualifiers to be a good experience. As an example, he cited OG's performance at qualifiers for The International 2018. They managed to get through the open qualifiers first and win the championship afterward.
Now, Yao is busy looking for teammates to participate in qualifiers. He reports that it is extremely hard to find the right candidates willing to start their journey to The International 12 with qualifiers to the Lower Division.
In October 2022, after completing The International 11, 🇨🇳Somnus announced his retirement from the professional Dota 2 scene. The Esportsman has been playing since 2013 and represented clubs such as Vici Gaming, LGD Gaming, CDEC Gaming, Elephant, and RNG. The total prize money earned during his career exceeds $3.2 million.
