Thiuth Gaming has received the Upper Division slot of DPC: NA, previously owned by Soniqs. Information about this came from social media.
Former Soniqs manager Jack "KBBQ" Chen revealed that the players had no plans to play together after the organization left Dota 2. He also said that he wouldn't revive the old Quincy Crew tag. Thus, its slot went to another team. It is unknown at this time whether it was gifted or sold.
Thiuth Gaming has two Russians, two Mexicans, and one US representative on the roster. The DPC: NA Upper Division matches run from January 9-29, 2023. The teams will compete for $205,000 in prize money, DPC points, and invitations to the first major.
