Taiga Has Been Exposed For Match Fixing While Playing For OG
YouTuber Morf has released a video on his channel, exposing Taiga for getting himself involved in match-fixing during his time in OG.
In March 2023, Taiga met the well-known “match-fixer” Sensibility in a pub. The two added each other and got in contact. At first, Sensibility shared his betting accounts with Taiga, letting him bet using the money on the account.
Taiga used the funds to bet on Counter-Strike matches and began losing a lot of money, eventually falling into debt with Sensibility. To try to repay the money, Taiga provided insider information regarding other teams, such as leaking scrims and placing bets on those matches.
However, Sensibility wanted to bet on OG’s matches during DreamLeague Season 19, which was happening in April 2023. The Norwegian did not want to throw matches, so he insisted on having Sensibility bet on OG getting first blood during their matches. Taiga would convince his team to smoke for first blood, and the profits would be shared between the two.
The plan was working, and Taiga was getting paid thousands of dollars. Eventually, Sensibility shared the bets with a mafia boss. More money was being placed, meaning Taiga would get a larger share. During these matches, Sensibility forced Taiga to stream his screen on Discord so he could watch the game, bypassing the 5-minute delay on the main stream.
Taiga began telling Sensibility to place bets on match totals, such as Over/Under kills and Over/Under duration. Up to this point, Taiga never wanted to bet against himself. However, during the match against Nouns, Taiga told Sensibility to bet on Nouns getting first blood, mentioning he was ready to feed. In this game, OG’s Chuvash fed first blood, so Taiga was safe.
The pair kept betting on OG getting first blood, but things went wrong against Team Spirit, where the TI winners counter-smoked to kill OG heroes first. This was a big loss for Sensibility and the mafia crew, so Taiga had to continue throwing to recoup the lost funds.
In the match against beastcoast, Taiga purposely fed first blood, and in hindsight, it was extremely obvious. He ran into the enemy jungle with no boots but found no one. In the lane, he was trading inefficiently and running back to his opponents to die and feed first blood.
Taiga and the mafia continued betting throughout the DreamLeague tournament with a record of 25 wins and 3 losses. Taiga was receiving up to $35,000. However, OG was very close to qualifying for the Riyadh Masters tournament, which would generate more money for Taiga than match-fixing. Taiga decided he no longer wanted to match fix and take the next few matches seriously, but OG still failed to qualify.
Taiga then tried to cut ties with Sensibility and the mafia, saying he no longer wanted to match fix. However, Sensibility threatened to blackmail him if he did not cooperate further. At the next tournament, the Berlin Major 2023, Taiga would go to the bathroom to text Sensibility to bet on first blood or totals. However, the video did not have too much evidence about the event.
Eventually, rumors started spreading about Taiga betting on matches. He “took a break” from the OG roster due to “mental health issues,” but we now know that it was because the OG team hired professionals to investigate him. Not only was Taiga throwing, but he also leaked OG's strats and leaked scrim reuslts.
Now, Taiga has blocked Sensibility from all social media, but Sensibility thinks he is working with another mafia group. Taiga played for Bleed Esports and Wildcard Gaming, and there is a possibility he was match-fixing on these teams, though the video did not show any proof.
Sensibility decided to leak all their chat logs and send the evidence to Morf, which is why all of this is accessible to us.
Just look at him, you can literally look at these players pictures and decypher if they are scamming or not
