Day 3 of The International 10 Playoff is over. After that, there were only 8 teams left in the tournament, and a pair of top net finalists were determined. Here's everything about the third day.

T1 2:0 Alliance

Traditionally, the first match of the day started with a 1-hour delay. T1 and Alliance didn't begin their meeting until 10:00 am CEST. Before the meeting started, the team from South-East Asia was considered the favorite, with 69% of our users' votes.

And it was that situation when the predictions fully coincided with the course of the match. The meeting ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of T1. The European team couldn't get a grip on both maps, and T1 had no trouble bringing the early advantage to victory.

Alliance leaves the tournament in 9th-12th place, earning $800,400. And T1, in turn, is moving on.

Vici Gaming 2:1 Evil Geniuses

The second match was the confrontation between Vici Gaming and Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket. It was hard to imagine that these teams would play in the elimination matches so early. The opinion of our contest participants was divided almost evenly: 57% for Evil Geniuses and 43% for Vici Gaming.

The first map in the match was boring. Evil Geniuses beat their opponent in 22 minutes. But after the pause, the Chinese team was able to pull themselves together and play the remaining maps to the best of their abilities. Two hard victories and the next round.

Team Secret 2:0 Invictus Gaming

Next up, the upper bracket matches began, and the first was a showdown between Team Secret and Invictus Gaming. Before the match, our website analysts gave 53% of the votes for Team Secret and 47% for Invictus Gaming.

The meeting ended with a flawless victory of Team Secret, and Invictus Gaming couldn't oppose their rival at all. The European team shows an incredibly well-coordinated game for the second time in this tournament, reminding us of how they played in 2020.

As a result of the match, Team Secret reached the final of the upper bracket and has already guaranteed itself at least 3rd place. That's the team's best result of all of The Internationals. And Invictus Gaming fell to the lower bracket, where they will continue their performance tomorrow.

Virtus Pro 0:2 PSG.LGD

The final match of the day was a clash between Virtus Pro and PSG.LGD. Of course, the Chinese team was the favorite, with 74% of the votes.

This time the meeting was fully read by the analysts. The match ended with a total win of PSG.LGD. And if on the first map Virtus Pro fought and had good chances to win, on the second one, their morale disappeared, and the team was defeated.

After the match, PSG.LGD went to the final of the upper bracket, where they would meet Team Secret, and Virtus Pro will wait for their opponent in the lower one.
