TI13 Group Stage Phase 1 Results and Phase 2 Matchups Revealed
After two action-packed days of Dota 2 action, the results for the first phase of the Ti13 Group Stage have ended.
For the second phase, teams will play in Best of 3 matches to determine whether they will start their Playoffs run in the Upper or Lower Bracket.
Group A Results
After a flawless 4-0 run yesterday, Xtreme Gaming maintained their position at the top of their group with a 5-1 finish.
Meanwhile, the Gaimin Gladiators finish second, while the 1win Team and Heroic are tied for the bottom-two positions.
Group B Results
In Group B, Cloud9 look incredibly dominant with a 5-1 record, drawing their series against Tundra Esports earlier today.
There was a tiebreaker between Tundra Esports and G2.iG. The first game was very back-and-forth, but Saksa had a Mirana bug where he couldn’t use Leap. The game was paused for over an hour, and Tundra eventually took the map and the next game to finish second.
Group C Results
Despite a slow start on the first day, Team Falcons started to pick up steam. They were tied with Team Zero for the top spot in Group C, but could easily win the tiebreaker series 2-0 to finish first.
Meanwhile, the BetBoom Team and Nouns are tied with a 2-4 record as the lowest seeds of the group.
Group D Results
It was obvious which two teams were the best, with Team Spirit and Team Liquid taking the lead. However, the two teams played a Best of 2 series to determine the winner of the group, in which the TI winners won the series 2-0 after two exciting games.
Aurora managed to defeat beastcoast 2-0, not that the series mattered as they were confirmed to share 3rd and 4th place.
Phase 2 Matchups
The first seeds from each group will have the right to select an opponent from the opposite group that finished 3rd or 4th.
