Xtreme Gaming Announces New Roster Excluding XinQ and Dy
The official Xtreme Gaming Weibo page has revealed the new Dota 2 roster ahead of the 2025 season. Previously, we learned that the support duo, XinQ and Dy, have taken extended breaks from professional play. Meanwhile, the three cores will stick together.
Filling in the empty spots for the team are Pyw and 天命. The new Xtreme Gaming composition features the following players:
Pyw is a household name in the Chinese region, having played in Tier 1 Dota since 2019. He played for teams such as Team Sincerity, Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and was very recently spotted on LGD Gaming. The 29-year-old is a very experienced player.
天命 has certainly shown results throughout his Dota 2 career. The hard support player climbed from lower tier teams and joined Azure Ray in 2023. He placed 4th at The International 2023 and made a miraculous run to win ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 with Xm and Xxs as temporary stand-ins, so he has played with some of the core players before.
There were also rumors suggesting that Ame might retire from professional Dota, but he has decided to run it back for at least another season.
We’ll see the titans of Chinese Dota return for DreamLeague Season 24, which starts on October 27.
