Yawar is ready to end his career next year
North American Quincy Crew member ??Yawar "YawaR" Hassan spoke in an interview with esports about his attitude to the DPC Regional Leagues and the ending of his career.
The Esportsman dislikes the current format of DPC Leagues. He said that 1-2 official games per week for 2 months don't help the Tier-2 scene to improve. He noted the low prize money for winning the Upper Divisions, only $30,000 per team. The old system with more tournaments and at least one major LAN event per month were more interesting.
When asked about motivation, Yawar said sincerely that Quincy Crew plans to attend all Major tournaments and qualify for The International 11 this year. Next year, however, the Esportsman plans to end his career. The only thing that may make him change his mind is the change of format on the competitive scene.
This season, Quincy Crew is competing in the DPC: North American Upper Division. After 3 matches, the team has a 3-0 statistic and shares the top spot with Team Undying.
