ESL disqualifies Mind Games from the Major
Tournament organizer ESL, hosting ESL One Stockholm Dota Major 2022, announced that Mind Games was disqualified from the tournament. Some members of the team didn't arrive at the championship in time.
All future opponents of the team in the group automatically receive technical wins. Previously, the team already received a technical defeat in a match against Thunder Awaken.
Thus, Mind Games takes last place in Group B. All the remaining teams continue to fight for invitations to the playoff stage.
ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 takes place in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, from May 12 to 22. The championship features 14 teams from 5 regions that compete for a total prize pool of $500,000 and 3,530 DPC points.
