Outsiders disqualified from DPC: EEU
Tournament organizer Beyond The Summit disqualified Outsiders (Virtus Pro) from the DPC: Playoffs for the EEU region. The team lost a chance to receive an invitation to ESL One Stockholm 2022.
In the DPC: Playoffs semifinals between Outsiders and Mind Games, Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, a member of the former, drew a "Z" sign on the minimap during a pause and then quickly painted over it. The meeting ended with the Outsiders' victory, but immediately after that, Beyond The Summit began an investigation into what happened.
As a result, Outsiders was disqualified from the tournament. The result of the match against Mind Games is annulled. In all future matches the team will get a technical defeat. The updated schedule and tournament position of teams is already available on our website — DPC: Playoffs.
DPC: Playoffs in EEU takes place from April 27 to May 2. The teams compete for a prize pool of $10,500 and 920 DPC points. On top of that, the Top-3 teams receive invitations to ESL One Stockholm 2022.
