Talon Esports quits the ESL One Berlin Major
Evil Geniuses resoundingly defeated Talon Esports with a 2:0 score and went on to conquer the lower bracket. Tomorrow begins the next round for them, this time against OG.
Evil Geniuses has had little trouble in the battle against Talon Esports on the first map only. On it, the team from Southeast Asia dominated the entire game on Net Worth and had a terrific chance to win. At the 42nd minute, the advantage reached 16,000 in gold, but the damage on Faceless Void wasn't adding up. One Terrorblade wasn't enough, so the beginning of the comeback was a result. A couple of times, Faceless Void survived, and the situation became critical. Pakazs showed an excellent first map and helped his team lead the series.
On the second map, Talon Esports showed an idle play. EG dominated from the start and broke the barracks to the 20th minute. Slark from Pakazs was running behind 23savage on Anti-Mage the whole game, preventing him from farming freely. EG's leader, Chris Luck, was played on 0. Storm Spirit gave 15/0/7 in his performance.
Talon Esports shared the 7-8 places with Team Aster at the ESL One Berlin Major 2023. The teams earned $12,500 with 200 DPC points each.
