Tundra To Miss PGL Wallachia; MOUZ Invited As Replacements
A similar situation to ESL One Birmingham 2024 has occurred. Tournament organizers PGL announced on Twitter that Tundra Esports has failed to secure their visas in time for the upcoming PGL Wallachia Season 1 tournament.
It was already odd that the team's support player, Whitemon, was still in Indonesia. This is likely because Pure or 9class could not guarantee their attendance for the tournament.
Official statement from PGL:
"Despite multiple deadlines, Tundra could not secure visas by today's final deadline and couldn't assemble a valid team to attend the tournament.
The next team in line from the qualifier was OG, who could not participate. Consequently, we've invited the next eligible team, MOUZ. They have a valid roster and the required visas and will, therefore, be stepping in to replace Tundra."
OG will not play in Wallachia this time like they did in Birmingham, though the reason for their unavailability is unclear.
The replacements, MOUZ, will make their first international LAN debut since the roster's formation. To recall, their lineup is as follows:
So far, the MOUZ roster has yet to be too active in the Tier 1 scene. They have been grinding online tournaments and recently won Portal World Invitationals 2024, pocketing $50,000.
awesome news...
but no surprises that replacement in UK is OG with Ari and in Romania Mouz with Ulnit and ImmortalFaith
