Bali Major Groups - Day 1 Results
The first day of the Bali Major Group Stage ends, and Group B has some interesting results.
Group A Overview
The current leaders of Group A are Team Liquid and Team Aster, both sitting at a respectable 3-1 score. Five teams in the middle of the board are tied with a score of 2-2; just one win away from tying up their points with the group leaders.
Despite it being a Major in Southeast Asia, both Filipino teams, Blacklist International and Execration, have a record of 0-4, winning zero matches on Day 1.
Group B Overview
Some surprising results came from Group B, as Nouns and Azure Ray are currently leading the group. Most Dota fans didn’t expect much from these two teams, especially Nouns, but here they are, sitting 3-1 alongside the likes of PSG.LGD, Gaimin Gladiators, and Quest Esports.
Another big surprise is Evil Geniuses going 0-4, losing to Nouns and Azure Ray. Joining EG in the 0-4 squad is another SEA team, BLEED Esports, going through their first Major tournament together.

Gaimin Gladiators vs. Quest Esports - Game 1
The Western European showdown between Gaimin Gladiators and Quest Esports didn’t disappoint. The two teams broke records and played the longest Dota 2 match in a LAN event, lasting 136 minutes!

Two Chinese teams faced off in Group A, providing fans with some entertaining Dota action.
Team Aster destroyed the laning stage, with a 4,000 net worth lead at 11 minutes after SumaiL’s last pick Templar Assassin destroyed Emo’s Invoker in the Mid Lane. Aster continued to take control of the game.
