Internal Conflicts Lead Daxak To Leave PSG Quest
Before the completion of the DreamLeague Season 22 Qualifiers, where PSG Quest eventually lost 0-3 to Team Falcons in the Grand Final, it became known that coach Daxak had left the team. He joined the team in September 2023 for The International 12 and barely had any success since then.
Interestingly enough, Daxak blamed the failure on the team's poor attitude and lack of discipline. The ex-coach released a statement on his social networks (translated):
"In fact, I didn't even have to go to the bootcamp. People played like hell and didn't work, but I motivated and persuaded them to start working. They gave me their word that they would fuck me up, etc. In the end, this didn't happen. (this is not to mention the fact that a week before the qualifier, I persuaded two players to play to the end and then go their separate ways if they hate each other so much) I won't allow my reputation (yes, I know it's crap) to be destroyed even more after everything I've done."
It appears that two of PSG Quest's players are not getting along well. Though it wasn't revealed which players these were, we suspect No!ob and OmaR. There were incidents of tipping each other after an attempted play went wrong.
The future of Daxak remains uncertain. He could go back as a player, but he believes that it is unlikely that anyone will give him another chance due to his bad reputation. Still, Daxak expressed the desire to be given a second chance and mentioned he would only need a few hours to convince anyone of his professionalism.
During Daxak's four months in the team, PSG Quest finished dead last at The International 12 and failed to qualify for ESL One Kuala Lumpur, BetBoom DACHA Dubai, and DreamLeague Season 22, where Team Falcons handed all three losses.
