Quest Defeat OG In Nail-Biting Series
Quest Esports made it to the final day of the WEU Ti12 Qualifiers after defeating OG in a close three-game series.
The first game had to be one of the most entertaining games of the entire qualifier, as we got a back-and-forth 83-minute game between the two teams. 124,000 Hero Damage and 79,000 net worth on Yuragi’s Medusa was still not enough to help OG cross the finish line, as Quest Esports took the first game after a 200 IQ Rat Dota play from Quest.
The second game was another exciting one. Quest Esports had reasonable control over the game, with a 12,000 net worth lead at 28 minutes. However, Yuragi’s Terrorbalde was silently farming up a storm. The Ukrainian carry could put his team on his back and go 15/2/8 to complete the comeback and keep the series level.
OG came out ahead in the laning stage of the deciding game, and they built up good momentum to project themselves to an early win. However, they played too passively, allowing TA2000’s Naga Siren to farm freely on the map. Delaying the game was a mistake, as Quest's superior late-game draft became too much for OG.
OG has been eliminated from the TI qualifiers, while Quest will play against Team Secret in an elimination match tomorrow.
