Sneyking: I earned less than a million dollars at The International 11
Tundra Esports member ??Wu "Sneyking" Jingjun revealed how much he earned after winning at The International 11. After deducting all fees and taxes, he has less than a million dollars.
Wu "Sneyking" Jingjun:
Tundra won $8.5 million at TI11, from which I received $1.7 million, according to the prize tracker. That's an impressive amount, but it's not. Earlier I tried to explain on the stream that each player doesn't get 20% of the prize pool. There are organization deductions and percentages of the coach, manager, and others involved. On top of that, we need to pay taxes for the prize. Thus the prize money in player trackers is inflated.
I still get a substantial sum which changes my life a lot. But it's less than people think. I can't tell you the exact amount, but it's less than a million dollars. Just want to clear up a misunderstanding.
Tundra Esports is the champion of The International 2022. It beat Team Secret in the grand final and earned $8.5 million in prize money. The total prize pool for the championship was $18.9 million.
