BB DACHA Day 2: Tundra Esports Secure Playoffs
The second day of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 Group Stage has ended, and we have our first fate decided. The new Tundra Esports squad went 3-1 on the day to secure a spot in the Playoffs. Meanwhile, everything else is still up for grabs heading into the final day.
Group A
As briefly mentioned earlier, Tundra Esports is sitting at the top of the group with a 6-2 record, meaning they are guaranteed to advance to the Playoffs stage.
The BetBoom Team only played one series today, which ended in a draw against Team Liquid, they are sitting with a 5-1 record with two more matches to go.
The Chinese representatives, Yakult's Brothers, aren’t doing too shabby themselves with 5 points.
Meanwhile, the TI winners aren’t having the greatest time, as they have tied all three of their matches to sit on a 3-3 score.
Talon Esports and MOUZ are the two teams that will likely exit the tournament, as they have 0 and 1 points, respectively. The Southeast Asian squad has not won a single game, but they have two more matches to go.
Group B
Despite struggling at the PGL Wallachia Season 2 Grand Finals, Team Falcons showed why they were one of the best teams of the year. They have a confident score of 5-1, claiming the top spot in the group with two matches to go.
The new Team Spirit squad is performing relatively well with their newest recruits, with a 5-3 record.
The Gaimin Gladiators look very shaky with their new lineup, getting destroyed 0-2 by Team Falcons and drawing their series with Team Spirit to end the day. Still, they have time to fix their 3-3 record with two matches remaining. Aurora is in the exact same situation.
The L1ga Team has three wins under their belt, but only one more series to go. They must win their next series convincingly to have a shot at Playoffs, but they’ll go up against Team Spirit as their final opponent.
Nouns is almost guaranteed to be eliminated, as they are sitting with a 1-5 record with only two more matches to play, and they’re up against Team Falcons and the Gaimin Gladiators.
Tomorrow marks the final day of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 Group Stage, and four teams will exit the tournament.
