European server surpasses all others in popularity

Analytical portal Stratz calculated Dota 2 popularity statistics in different regions. It turned out that people play on the European server more than on all the rest combined.
By early 2023, over 13 million matches were played on the European server alone. All other regions had 11.5 million games, and almost half of those were in Southeast Asia.
Interestingly, China has shown modest figures for matches played over the past 2 years. Even South America is ahead of China. The region is in the penultimate place, leaving North America behind only.
