Patch 7.31 is one of the most prolific Pudge patches on the pro scene

Esports analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen has published stats on the patches in which Pudge appeared on the pro scene. The current patch 7.31 got into the Top-3.
- Patch 6.88 – 160 times;
- Patch 7.01 – 89 times;
- Patch 7.31 – 82 times;
- Patch 7.02 – 57 times.
In Patch 7.31d, Valve boosted Pudge. The hero got a three-unit increase to base damage. The developers increased the damage blocking of the Flesh Heap ability from 5-10 to 7-28. They also improved the talent at level 10. The Rot ability slows down not by 14% but by 16%.
In the current patch 7.31, Pudge has 72 bans, in addition to the picks on the maps. His pro scene win rate is 46.61%. On average, his maps finish in 35:33 minutes.
