Patch 7.31c weakened Death Prophet, Tiny, and Medusa
Less than a week until ESL One Stockholm Dota Major 2022 starts, but it didn't stop Valve from releasing patch 7.31c.
The key changes in the patch are the addition to the game's client fantasy league, timed to the Major, redesign of items, neutral creeps, and heroes. On the official Dota 2 website, you can check out the full changelog. In the meantime, we want to highlight the most considerable changes to Death Prophet, Tiny, and Medusa, which are high on the current meta.
Death Prophet
The biggest change in this patch is for Death Prophet. His Spirit Siphon ability and Exorcism ultimate were weakened. Spirit Siphon lost some damage at entry level, and Exorcism does only 50% of its damage on buildings, which significantly reduces the push potential.
Tiny
The second most popular hero on the pro scene, Tiny, has also been significantly weakened. Tree Grab and Grow lost some total damage and damage to buildings. In addition, the developer changed the hero's talents so that Tiny reached the peak of his power a little later.
Medusa
Before ESL One Stockholm Dota Major 2022, one of the most popular carry heroes on the professional scene, Medusa, lost 5% of her damage with Split Shot. Also, the Stone Gaze ultimate requires 50 more mana now, which should affect the Mana Shield ability, which requires a lot of mana.
