Patch 7.32e: Added Muerta and a few minimal balance changes
Last night, patch 7.32e appeared in the Dota 2 client. Valve added a new heroine Muerta to the game and made minor changes to the item and character balance. Let's tell you about the key features. Look for the complete changelog on the game's official website.
Hero Muerta
During The International 11, Valve announced a new ranged character with an intelligence attribute – Muerta. However, instead of the promised beginning of the year, her release has only happened now.
Along with this, the game kicked off the Dead Reckoning Event, where during each match, players receive a target that they must destroy. For the kills, they get in-game currency, which is then exchanged for Dota 2 items.
Main Character Changes
Almost all of the changes in the new patch seem minor. Heroes received a small boost or weakening of characteristics. We only saw one character whose nerf could affect popularity.
Lina
- Dragon Slave: Cooldown increased from 9s to 12/11/10/9s
- Light Strike Array: Mana Cost increased from 100/105/110/115 to 115
- Fiery Soul: Attack Speed Bonus per stack decreased from 10/20/30/40 to 8/16/24/32
- Fiery Soul: Move Speed Bonus per stack decreased from 1.5/2/2.5/3 percent to 1/1.5/2/2.5 percent
- Talent: Level 15 Talent Health decreased from +350 to +250
- Talent: Level 20 Talent Fiery Soul Speed per stack decreased from +15/1 percent to +10/1 percent
One of the most popular characters from the last DPC season and The Lima Major, Lina, got nerfs for almost all abilities and some of her talents. She was extremely strong at both the carry and midlane positions. Time will tell whether these changes are enough.
Patch 7.33
In its blog, Valve said that the new number patch shouldn't be expected until the end of April. The developer promises global changes to the game with it.
Recall that patch 7.32 is already the longest in Dota 2 history. Now, he is valid for 194 days. Before that, the longest patch was 7.30, which lasted 191 days.
