Valve allows the EEU teams to play in the region after relocation
PuckChamp's manager Zhanna Batkovna said on her social media that Valve allowed teams that left the EEU region to continue to play in the league.
According to the rules of Regional DPC Leagues, more than half of the teams must be physically present in the region of the league. However, Valve made an exception for the EEU. Now teams that left the region can finish the season. We know of at least 2 participants who previously went to Serbia: Team Spirit and PuckChamp.
Zhanna Batkovna:
There will be an exception for the teams. Literally, "An exception affects all teams that started the 2022 season in Eastern Europe. They will continue to play there until the end of this season..."
DPC Summer Tour will run from June 6 to July 17. Teams from the EEU Upper Division will compete for $205,000, 920 DPC points, and 3 invitations to PGL Arlington Major 2022.
